‘Monumental People – Coping and Living With Cancer’ is The Cancer Monument’s signature
radio program and is a powerful 30-minute, monthly public service information health
talk show dedicated to cancer education, prevention, awareness and research advocacy.
This show discusses many aspects and psychosocial issues that can arise from a cancer
diagnosis. Listeners will feel informed, inspired, empowered, encouraged, and hopeful.
On-air guests include cancer patients and survivors, as well as family members, doctors,
nurses, therapists, social workers and many others who will provide current information,
insight, support, and coping strategies to those who live with, through and beyond
cancer. Hosted by Michelle Miller, a cancer survivor and President of The Cancer Monument
Incorporated, the program also strives to bring awareness to the concept of ‘Heroes in
the War on Cancer’ and provides information about the latest happenings and events in
the cancer community.
Our shows air the 1st Sunday of every month. They are currently being broadcast on the following
